Roofs For Vets was formed in the Midwest by a local contractor, Green Built Roofing. Green Built wanted to do more than just home repairs, so they decided to share in their successes with those less fortunate. The “Roofs for Vets” program was formed. Green Built teamed up with Disabled American Veterans and decided to start providing one disabled veteran in need with a full roof or window replacement free of charge per month. Many veterans said they did not join the military for hand outs. Green Built simply replied, “We do it out of respect, not charity.” Roofs for Vets currently performs one project per month for a vet free of charge. While we understand that we cannot perform free projects for all veterans every month, we are working hard to gain national sponsorship to provide service to all DAVs nationwide.

Roofs For Vets has teamed up with Green Built Roofing and its partners to offer special Program Incentives and additional discounts that are only available to the veterans that have served.
